Education and career
Hello! My name is Florencia Sisi and my interest in working as a bridge between two diverse cultures led me to become a certified translator of English into Spanish.
In the year 2013, I got my degree from the School of Languages in the National University of Córdoba and, since then, I have worked as a freelance translator for private customers and small businesses who trust me with their documents. Furthermore, I am a sworn translator and I belong to the Professional Association of Sworn Translators of the Province of Cordoba.
My love for languages made me decide to work as a teacher and, in 2014, I joined the teacher staff at IICANA (a binational center in Córdoba, Argentina with support from the US Department of State). Here I give classes to teenagers, young adults and adults.
I firmly believe in the importance of ongoing professional development because this is the best way to guarantee the necessary knowledge and precision that translation quality requires. I also use technological tools to increase the efficiency and quality of my work.
